The Bliss Foundation was set up to help organic farmers to sell and promote their goods and to educate people about all aspects of sustainability. This year, the focus of the popular festival will be on His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s sufficiency economy and how to lead a healthy lifestyle while protecting the environment.

There will be a range of exhibitions and speakers at the festival. These include Jon Jandai of the Pun Pun Centre for Self Reliance and Witton Lienchamroon, the director of BioThai.

In addition, organic workshops will show visitors how to make natural fertilisers and pesticides or how to create the perfect compost.

There will also be an exhibition on the “70 Routes in His Majesty’s Footsteps” project, which encourages people to travel and see the great work done by the King to help Thailand become a nation that practices self-sufficiency and eco-friendly agriculture.
